No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.
Entry Period
Entries will be accepted from December 1, 2024 at 12:00 AM EST through December 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years or older and live in one of the following service towns: New Windsor, Newburgh, Cornwall, Cornwall-on-Hudson, Vails Gate, Washingtonville, Salisbury Mills, Monroe, Harriman, Central Valley, Montgomery, Walden, Maybrook, Wallkill, Highland Mills, Highland Falls, West Point, Beacon, Fishkill, Wappingers Falls. Residential properties only. Commercial properties are not eligible.
Participants must have an existing heating oil account with a provider able to deliver within the prize window and have a tank that is considered safe and deliverable by their oil provider.
One entry per household.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Fumarola Plumbing, Heating & Cooling are not eligible. Existing Fumarola customers whose accounts are not in good standing are also not eligible.
How to Enter
Participants must submit the sweepstakes entry form including full name, phone number, email address, and residential town. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
Prize
One winner will receive payment toward a single heating oil delivery valued at up to 275 gallons OR up to $1,000, whichever total is reached first.
The prize applies only to a single oil delivery. No cash payout, rollover, substitution, or future credit is allowed. If the delivery cost exceeds the prize limit, the winner is responsible for the remaining balance.
Payment is made directly to the winner’s oil provider. The winner does not receive the funds directly.
Winner Selection and Notification
One winner will be randomly selected on Friday, January 2, 2025.
The winner will be notified via email and phone using the information provided on the entry form.
The winner must respond within 5 business days. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
Prize Fulfillment Window
The oil delivery must be completed and invoiced within 90 days of winner confirmation. If delivery cannot be completed within that timeframe for reasons outside of Fumarola Plumbing, Heating & Cooling’s control, the prize is forfeited.
Publicity and Media Use
By entering, participants agree that if selected as the winner, Fumarola Plumbing, Heating & Cooling may use the winner’s name, town, photos, and video for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
Taxes
The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes or reporting requirements.
General Rules
Fumarola Plumbing, Heating & Cooling reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the sweepstakes if necessary and may disqualify participants who attempt to tamper with or manipulate the process.
Platform Disclosure
This sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or any oil distribution company.
Privacy
Information submitted will be used for sweepstakes administration and may be used for future marketing by Fumarola Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. Information will not be sold or shared outside operational necessity.
